This is the area I grew up in, lived here since 1999 and since then nothing has changed no service delivery whatsoever. We've never had any protests , I dont know why, I mean in all the neighbouring townships they have protested for service delivery and it looks like fun because those people know how to get down.
On a serious note though , most counsellors that have been elected used to live here as well and once they take the positions they move away to better areas, leaving us behind in the dump that we live in. How does one take up a leadership position when they know very well that they are not capable of delivering. It pains me that in 2014 we still walk on dusty streets 20 years after democracy. Its sad .
